What stones went into making this masterful creation?

1 piece of large piece of top quality rainbow obsidian (main body) + 1 piece of top quality moonstone (the moon- 109 carats) + 2 pieces of top quality emerald (the eyes- .12 carats).

We selected obsidian with the best rainbows of striking green and purple. The moonstone is from the largest piece of the stone we acquired at the Hong Hong 2011 Gem and Jewelry Fair, the largest of the trade in the world. The emerald eyes are very clear and green, giving the wolf a very life-like quality.

We asked one of our master carving artists to carve this piece. Everyone in the studio was stunned by the sculpture��s beauty and the awesome impression it created when it was finished.

The line on the top right at the backing stone is a natural crack of the stone itself.
